            There was a long delay for the ceremony because we could not find the minister.   I finally found him in front of the trees

          in front of me where I could not see him.   I got on the microphone to tell everyone the reason for the delay  was because

         we couldn't find their minister.  Suddenly a lot of them yelled out "He's right in front of you!".    He was hidden on the other side

         of the row of trees!   Everyone started laughing at me.   It was funny.

             Had I not done this there would have been a longer delay to start the ceremony.    The other reason I remember this reception

         was they asked for "Fishin' in the Dark" by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band  which I owned on a CD.   I played it for them and the 

         bride and groom did dance to this rarely asked for song.   This was one of those Sunday daylight wedding receptions where not

         many people danced.   I just played a lot of great dance songs which made everyone happy.

          Just a small email from Leanne about her wedding reception and ceremony... 

                     Can we use a part of Fishing in the Dark by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (that was one of my must play songs) 

                      for when we walk back down the aisle as Mr..and Mrs..? That's a very special song to us but too fast to play 

                      as a First Dance,  so we're trying to incorporate it somehow in a special way. Any suggestions? Do you have the 

                      ability to use only one chunk of a song...? Let me know your thoughts...
          

             (They called a powerful DJ company and were quoted $1200 + $200 for the ceremony + $100 for travel.   Total = $1500!

              I did an excellent job for almost $1000 less)
